How we think about legal information
CarryGuard surfaces general orientation — what's commonly understood about carry law in a given place. It is not legal advice and it has never been tested in a courtroom, because no government FAQ ever has been.
If you carry a firearm, the single most important piece of legal preparation you can do is understand use-of-force law— the doctrine that governs what happens after a trigger is pulled, not before. That's a different discipline from carry law, and it's the one that matters when your life actually depends on it.
We'll point you toward reputable use-of-force educators as we formalize those relationships. Until then: find one, read their work, and take them seriously.
